This kick-off event introduces Opportunity Hunters, a TUM lecture that helps students recognize, explore, and critically assess real-world problem spaces. Through insights from experienced entrepreneurs Helmut Schönenberger — Vice President Entrepreneurship at TUM and Co-Founder & CEO of UnternehmerTUM — and Gyri Reiersen, Co-Founder & CPO of Tanso, participants will learn how founders approach complex challenges, identify unmet needs, and translate problems into opportunities for sustainable innovation.

The session invites students to examine climate challenges through an entrepreneurial lens and provides a starting point for their own research and fieldwork throughout the semester.
