Life after Microplastics: Who replaces them, and who pays for it?

The EU microplastics restriction kicks in for rinse-off cosmetics on 17 October 2027, followed by detergents and fertilisers in 2028. Industry needs replacements now, at scale and at a price that works. Over breakfast, three founders show what life after microplastics already looks like.

• Re-Fresh Global: turns synthetic-blend textile waste into nanocellulose, a bio-based alternative to virgin and fossil inputs
